Insta360 announced the X5 Satin White Limited Edition on August 5, 2025, a white-finished version of its flagship 360 camera with subtle glitter accents and orange detailing[1]. The imaging hardware is unchanged from the standard X5; the news is the new finish and matching accessories.
The camera carries the same 1/1.28-inch sensors and triple-AI-chip system, recording 8K30fps 360 video. PureVideo mode uses AI noise reduction for low light, while AdaptiveTone balances exposure and color in difficult conditions[1]. Insta360 rates continuous 5.7K recording at up to 208 minutes, with fast charging to 80% in 20 minutes.
The white look extends to the included Lens Cap, Protective Pouch and 114cm Invisible Selfie Stick. The body is IP68 waterproof to 15m and works with the existing X5 Invisible Dive Case down to 60m, and a built-in Wind Guard is included. InstaFrame mode outputs a flat video while keeping the full 360 footage[1].
It is sold through the Insta360 Store, Amazon and select retailers, priced from US$549.99. For a limited time, X5 buyers can claim a one-year Insta360+ subscription with 1TB cloud storage, which Insta360 values at over US$100.
