Insta360 announced the Mic Pro wireless microphone system on May 19, 2026, and it is available now through the Insta360 Official Store, Amazon and authorized distributors.[1] The 2 TX + 1 RX kit starts at US$329.99, with other configurations offered alongside it.
Each transmitter carries a 1.22-inch six-color E-Ink display that shows uploaded logos, talent names or production identifiers, and the image persists when the unit is powered off. Because the screen draws power only when refreshing, a static graphic costs nothing, and it stays legible in direct sun. Inside each transmitter, three microphones feed DSP that emulates omnidirectional, cardioid, super-directional and figure-8 patterns, switchable from the receiver or the Insta360 app.[1]
The transmitter weighs 19.7 g without its clip and records internally to 32GB in 32-bit float, with an NPU handling AI noise cancellation and files auto-splitting every 30 minutes. Insta360 rates battery life at 10 hours per transmitter and 30 hours with the charging case, while a five-minute charge adds about an hour. Multi-channel setups can run four transmitters into one receiver or two transmitters to four receivers. Bluetooth pairing with the X5, X4 Air, Ace Pro 2 and GO Ultra skips the receiver entirely.[1]
