Insta360 Mic Launches With 1.22-Inch E-Ink Screen and Card Recording

Insta360's Mic series hardware table lists the Insta360 Mic transmitter, receiver and charging case with an October 15, 2026 release date, alongside a 1.22-inch six-color e-ink display and storage-card recording.

The Insta360 Mic goes on sale on October 15, 2026. The hardware specification table for the Mic series on Insta360's official site lists that date for the transmitter, receiver and charging case alike.[1]

The transmitter carries a 1.22-inch six-color e-ink display and can record directly to a storage card. It is a separate product from the Mic Pro released in May, which uses a three-microphone array and built-in storage rather than a card slot.[1]

The manual rates the Mic transmitter for roughly 13 hours of operation per charge.[1]
