Insta360 announced Mic Air on June 26, 2025, its first wireless microphone, made for Insta360 cameras and other devices.[1] The 7.9g mic pairs with the X5 without adapters or a receiver, attaches via a magnetic clip, and provides remote camera controls for starting and stopping recording, toggling noise reduction and muting.

It records 48kHz/24-bit audio with built-in noise reduction and ships with a removable windshield. Insta360 lists support for the X5, Ace Pro 2, Flow Series and smartphones; a separate 1 TX + 1 RX Bundle covers most modern phones, tablets, computers and Flow Series gimbals.[1]

The X5 Ultimate Creator Bundle adds Mic Air, the Bullet Time Selfie Stick 2.0 and the Quick Reader. The selfie stick offers 65°, 75° and 90° shooting angles at up to 120cm, while the Quick Reader moves footage over USB-C or Lightning and supports pass-through charging.[1]

Prices are US$49 for Mic Air, US$69 for the 1 TX + 1 RX Bundle and US$669 for the bundle, all available now at the Insta360 Store and Amazon. Insta360 plans firmware updates for additional camera compatibility and a Lightning version for iOS devices.
