Insta360 announced Flow 2 Pro, a new smartphone gimbal, on January 16[1]. The stabilizer supports Apple DockKit, enabling native subject tracking inside the iPhone's built-in Camera app, Blackmagic's app (including SmartWheel use) and more than 200 third-party iOS apps, so users can shoot without extra tracking software.

Inside the Insta360 app, Flow 2 Pro runs Deep Track 4.0 AI tracking. A new Active Zoom Tracking mode zooms up to 15x while following a moving subject, and Multi-Person Tracking keeps several people framed at once. The body also gains an adjustable Selfie Mirror, a Teleprompter Mode, and remote control via an Apple Watch or a second smartphone[1].

The gimbal has a sturdier build with a stronger tripod, 360° Infinite Pan Tracking and a Free Tilt Mode for crane and tilt-style moves. It supports Dolby Vision and Apple ProRes recording. Documented accessories include a Magnetic Phone Mount that doubles as a desktop stand, a Magnetic Cooling Mount in two iPhone sizes, and a Backpack Mount. It is available now from $159.99[1].
